What is Invisalign?
Invisalign treatment provides you with a custom-made series of clear, removable aligners that fit over the surfaces of the upper and lower teeth. As you change each aligner, your teeth will shift gradually towards our anticipated final position, giving you the confident smile you desire.
It is our goal to provide our patients with high-quality orthodontic services in North Carolina and offer all the possible treatments tailored to your needs as it is the Invisalign.
How Does Invisalign Work?
A series of aligners are generated using a 3D Scan to ensure a fit that feels comfortable for the duration of your treatment. The aligners are made of a flexible, clear plastic, and are trimmed to fit along each patient’s unique gum line, making them look and feel better while being worn throughout the day.
Aligners are to be worn a total of 20-22 hours a day, and are only to be removed while eating, drinking and brushing.
What are the Benefits of Invisalign?
Because the aligners are made of a clear material, it is common for your friends, family and co-workers not to even notice that you are wearing them, making the Invisalign process practically invisible.
There are no metal wires or brackets that could potentially irritate your mouth or be considered an inconvenience. The aligners are removable, making it easy for you to continue eating your favorite foods throughout your treatment, while also being able to brush and floss like usual, without needing to work your way around brackets and wires.
With Invisalign the patient knows what to expect since the treatment planning is computarized and avoids the trial and error that usually occurs when wearing brackets.
