Kim, DAII (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Kim is originally from West Virginia, but after living in the Raleigh area for almost 30 years, she calls North Carolina home. As a testament to Kim’s dedication to our practice, she has worked here for over 28 years, and is a lifetime member of the American Dental Assistants Association. Kim is an invaluable asset to the practice because of her patient knowledge, patient relationships, and great sense of humor.
Kim and her husband, Clint, have one daughter, Sydney. Kim loves to laugh, travel, read, and cook. She enjoys spending time with her family at Lake Norman and is a die hard West Virginia fan. Go Mountaineers!
Debra, CDA, DAII (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Debra is a native North Carolinian from Oxford, NC. She is a graduate of J.F. Webb High School, studied at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, for two years, and graduated from the dental assisting program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She has been a certified dental assistant for nearly 41 years. Debra brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.
Debra is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association. As a testament to her good nature and dedication to dentistry, Debra loves developing relationships with our patients and making a difference in their lives by helping to meet their dental goals and needs. She enjoys working with funny, caring, and dedicated people every day. Debra always greets patients with a smile, and makes sure that they leave with a smile, too!
Debra has been married to her husband, Royce, for over 27 years. The two of them love to travel, hike and go camping, and now that her husband has recently retired, they hope to spend more time together doing the things they love! Debra also sings in the choir at Mt. Creek Baptist Church.
Ashley, CDA (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Ashley is a native North Carolinian and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. She is currently working on completing her Bachelor Degree in Health Science. She is a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. She routinely volunteers her time at dental clinics.
Ashley has been a patient of Wainright & Wassel DDS since the age of four. It was only fitting that Ashley join our team! With her great work ethic and positive attitude, she is a great fit with our wonderful staff.
Ashley is very close with her family. She never misses the yearly tradition of Tennessee football games with her dad. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their dog, Lily.
Ilene, DAII (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Ilene was born in Manila, Philippines and raised on the beautiful island of Guam!
In 1998, Ilene graduated from Concorde Career Institute in North Hollywood, CA and moved to North Carolina in 2003. She has been a dental assistant for 20 years and loves dentistry! She enjoys the interaction with every patient and looks forward to working with patients achieve their smile!
One of Ilene’s greatest personal achievements was when she decided to go back to school to receive her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting in 2011. She and her husband, Brian have 2 children, Brandon and Isabella and 2 puppies Mochi and Pika. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends and travel when they can. She loves to clean (she finds it therapeutic) and cooking Filipino dishes.
Sheree, CDA (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Sheree is a native of North Carolina. Originally from Wilmington, she moved to Raleigh in 1998 to attend Wake Technical Community College and to pursue better employment opportunities.
Sheree began her career in dentistry as a sterilization technician in 2008, and has been with our practice since October 2018. Her newfound interest in dentistry, outstanding work ethic and ability to learn quickly, prompted her to obtain her Certification as a Dental Assistant in 2010 after receiving on-the-job training and classes offered through Wake Tech, UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake AHEC.
In her spare time, Sheree enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, shopping and working on cars.
Kady, DAII (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Kady is a Raleigh native and attended Wake Technical Community College for school. Starting as a sterilization technician, she has been working in the dental field for 5 years and joined our practice in April 2019. Kady is very passionate about dentistry and strives to make her patients feel comfortable at Wainright and Wassel.
Kady married her husband Jonny in 2016, and they have a dog named Whiskey. They love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
Loren, CDA (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Loren is originally from Newport News, Virginia. She moved to Raleigh with her family when she was seven years old and has been a long-time patient of Wainright and Wassel DDS ever since.
Throughout high school and college, Loren was a skilled trampoline and tumbling gymnast while having a passion for art. As a graduate of Wake Technical Community College’s Dental Assisting Program, Loren earned her title of a Certified Dental Assistant and began working at Wainright and Wassel soon after.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her fiancé, their two dogs, and her family. Besides her love for the dental field, she enjoys painting and graphic design. You can catch Loren welcoming you to the practice with a grand tour, or waving you goodbye until your next visit!”
Christopher, (Hygiene Assistant)
Christopher is originally from Bronx, NY. He moved to Raleigh to be with his family and pursue his dreams of a career in dentistry. Christopher is in training to become a DA1 and progress to a DAII. He is a loved member of our team and our hygienists rely on him to make sure that everything is perfectly prepared for our patients. He prides himself on making sure that everything runs smoothly.
In his spare time, Christopher likes to work out, read books, write poetry, shop and make custom jewelry. He also enjoys eating, going to movies, and playing video games. He loves to worship God and spend time with his family and friends.
Emily, DA II (Patient Treatment Coordinator)
Emily is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Throughout high school, Emily excelled in her studies and graduated at the age of 16. She immediately pursued her interest in dentistry by completing a two-year dental assisting program at Great Oaks Technical School in 2014, and has been working in the dental field ever since.
What Emily loves most about being a Dental Assistant is to help her patients overcome their fears and reach their dental goals by putting herself in their shoes.
She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are comfortable during every appointment.
Emily and her husband, Connor, moved to North Carolina in 2016. They love traveling to tropical areas to go fishing and catch the sun. When they are at home, they enjoy gardening and taking out their boat with their two dogs, Sadie Mae and Rex.
